I aim to reflect Eimear's warm and welcoming nature, the big tech component is playfully emphasized by font and pixel-like elements.

The website uses the "Wilco" font from simplebits. For the layout and color scheme I was inspired by the program series of the Manchester Literature Festival 2018. A small easteregg is the octave that sounds on desktop size when hovering over the menu.
buerokratiemonster.eu is a German project for the promotion of democracy in the EU. The importance of the rule of law, environmental protection and human rights is personified through the bureaucracy monsters Justus, Fleur and Robin.

Being based on a Spotify playlist, we have a lot of plans for this project: In the long run, we want to make it independent of large providers and support the artists themselves instead.

We worked together on the concept of a very modern and simple website where she can present and sell her CDs (through Stripe Checkout), show her upcoming concerts and share updates and thoughts with her fans through the blog.
Inés is an actress, singer and dubbing artist.
Her multiple talents needed to be represented on the website as well. At the same time, I wanted to reflect the actress' convertibility, which is why the website has a clear and simple structure. Inés is a cheerful and positive person, it is particularly easy to work with her. This quality is also captured by small playful accents and colours.
The non-profit foundation seeks to create socio-economic links between Germany and Spain through culture.
I started working with them many years ago designing the programs of their concerts, the posters of the events and doing maintenance work on the page they had. I continue to collaborate with them maintaining the page.

The website wants to convey a clear, confidence-inspiring feel. It was moved from WordPress to Eleventy, improving rankings, which led to me being asked to please don't do any more SEO efforts, as we cannot take on any more clients. I never did though, the website just works well all on its own.

A good example that a WordPress website can be perfectly fast. Only five plugins are activated on the website: Advanced Custom Fields PRO, Akismet Anti-Spam, SiteGround Security, WP Rocket Pro and Yoast SEO. No client side JavaScript whatsoever was added from my side.
